ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT COMMUNITY SUPPORT MEMBERSHIP ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SCHOOL SERVICES STUDENT ENRICHMENT   ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT     Art Display   Arranges for the framing and display of student art throughout the school (no experience necessary, training and supplies provided).       Mini Grants   Works with a panel of school administrators, parents, teachers, etc. to evaluate, approve and implement various teacher requests.       Differential Education   Represents the interests of the PTA board on the Special Needs Committee.       Reflections   Advertises, solicits and coordinates participation in the PTA sponsored, school-wide literacy and art competition.     Back to Top   COMMUNITY SUPPORT     Project Elbow Grease (PEG)   Plans and coordinates community service opportunities for TRMS Students.       Legislation   Represents Taylor Road at all North Fulton council PTA legislative events and keeps the Board informed on legislative issues.       Health Fair   Works with school contacts to organize speakers and presenters for a one-day health awareness program.       Campus Beautification   Plans and coordinates ways to enhance the natural environment at TRMS including Tiger Plaza and Green School - Fall & Spring Clean-Up.       Buildings & Grounds   Plans and coordinates weekly and monthly maintenance of the natural environment at TRMS including the planting of annuals and perennials around the main common areas.     Back to Top   MEMBERSHIP     Directory   enters data and edits information for directory publication and helps to distribute directories in the fall.       Commitment Cards   Coordinated and assists with the mailing of Publix and Kroger cards to TRMS families.       Sales Assistant/Advertisement Assistant   Provides support to boost School Directory revenue by enlisting local businesses to provide discounted services or purchase ads.     Back to Top   ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT     Hospitality / Teacher & Staff Appreciation   Plans and coordinates PTA and school informal functions for newcomers, including teachers, faculty and staff personnel.       Communications/Publicity   Coordinates with local newspapers to promote TRMS activities and achievements.       VIP's   Records and tabulates volunteer hours.       Volunteer Coordinator   Coordinates volunteer needs for PTA sponsored events; coordinates in school volunteers.     Back to Top   SCHOOL SERVICES     Health Screening   Coordinates volunteers to assist with the health screening of students.       Book Fair   Helps to run the Book Fair in the Fall       Media Center   Assists media Specialist during scheduled times.     Back to Top   STUDENT ENRICHMENT     Red Ribbon   Helps with the coordination of Red Ribbon Week events       6th Grade   Helps once yearly with 6th grade party.       7th Grade   Helps once yearly with 7th grade party.       8th Grade   Helps once yearly with 8th grade party.     Back to Top
