For Students, the TRMS PTA
offers an array of academic and cultural arts programs designed to enhance
what is taught in the classroom. We also offer several fun programs,
such as Grade-level parties, Red Ribbon Week, and the 8th Grade Year-end
Picnic.
For Parents, we offer the
informative Parent-to-Parent program.
For Teachers, we provide a
small stipend to cover some of the expenses of running a classroom and
sponsor numerous teacher appreciation activities to demonstrate our
continued support for all they do for our students.
For the TRMS Community, we
sponsor a comprehensive Health Fair with our business partner Emory Johns
Creek Hospital and multiple community outreach efforts.
During the 2007-2008 school year,
the TRMS PTA purchased the following items for our school:
2 Lab Carts for the new science rooms

Outdoor trash cans for the school access road

The
TRMS PTA also coordinated the following educational opportunities for
parents and students: Red Ribbon Week; Ronald McDonald House loose change
drive for new Atlanta area house; Monthly Project Elbow Grease activities
(community service projects); TRMS Health Fair; Scoliosis Screenings for 6th
& 8th Graders; and Communications (PTA Summer Newsletter, weekly notices in
Monday Messenger, PTA Handbook & Student Directory).
In
addition, the TRMS PTA coordinated the following events:
