VOLUNTEER TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Like all school employees, school volunteers are now also mandated reporters are required to report if they suspect that a child is being abused or neglected. The Georgia Legislature recently passed this law in order to more fully safeguard children living in our state.

In order to be able to volunteer at TRMS, it is MANDATORY that each volunteer complete the Fulton County School System training program, complete a questionnaire, and register as a volunteer. This can all be done online, and will only take about 10 minutes. Be sure to have your driver's license, and vehicle make/model/tag number handy before beginning the online registration.

*Please note that this process must be completed each school year, even if you have registered before*

Clicking the link below will take you directly to the Fulton County Schools Volunteer registration site. At the bottom of the page, click 'Sign up Now' in the green box to get started. Upon completion of the process, within 48 hours you will receive an email confirmation. Please print that out, and bring that copy and your driver's license to TRMS front office when you first arrive to volunteer.
