Throughout the year, TRMS PTA has many special events that foster Student Enrichment. These include:
- 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Activities/Dances: Remember the thrill and excitement of your middle school dances? Well we make the TRMS grade-level parties a time to remember for our own kids now! We do this by planning and coordinating an amazing once-yearly party for each of our grades, complete with a DJ, games, prizes, decorations, and activities, plus enough volunteers for things to run smoothly! We also support "Last Blast"—an outdoor party at the end of the school year—for our 8th Graders.
- Honor Roll Celebration: Twice during the school year, the PTA arranges a special treat for students who have made semester Honor Roll. Honor Roll recipients typically receive a Certificate of Achievement as well as a token or treat for their accomplishment.
- International Night: This event, sponsored by the PTA, recognizes our students’ cultural heritage by displaying flags from their native countries, sharing traditional food, and enjoying cultural student entertainment. In years past, International Night has sometimes been a joint event with Chattahoochee High School.
- 6th Grade Boot Camp: Each summer, in late July, TRMS hosts a Boot Camp for all rising 6th graders to offer them the opportunity to walk the halls and learn their way around the school before the hustle and bustle of the first day. 6th graders can purchase lockers, meet teachers and administrators. PTA sponsors treats and a photo booth for students to capture a moment with their friends over the summer.
