Fulton County requires all volunteers to complete the online registration before they can volunteer in any Fulton County school.
Fulton County Schools VOLUNTEER Training (MANDATORY) - To keep in compliance with State Law and best practices, for the 2023-2024 school year, Fulton County Schools will require that all persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process.
The registration process can be found on the FCS District Website under Community/Partners & Volunteers or click here. Applicants should be prepared to spend about 10-15 minutes for the training and application process. In accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in our schools. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application). All applicants must wait 24 hours after applying for application processing and approval.
If you have any further questions regarding volunteering at the school and the required documents, please contact the front office.
Like all school employees, school volunteers are now also mandated reporters who are required to report if they suspect that a child is being abused or neglected. The process for volunteering takes about 30 minutes total, and includes about 20 minutes of online mandatory child abuse reporting training required by the State of Georgia for all volunteers.
Please remember that you must have completed your MANDATORY Volunteer Training at least 48 hours prior to volunteering at TRMS.
